Moscow Brewing Company, Russia
Moscow Brewing Company, Russia, 2012
The source of the industrial wastewater is the beer and soft drinks production within the premises of the Moscow Brewing Company. In the past, there was just mechanical and aerobic treatment of wastewater. Since the wastewater from the producing process has a relatively high temperature (above 25 C) and appropriate composition, Hydrotech and its customer decided to install anaerobic stage including high loaded IC reactor (Internal Circulation). Produced biogas is utilized for electricity production.
Because of professional cooperation with the company after several years the customer asked Hydrotech to make a reconstruction of the aerobic stage. The stage has been modified to denitrification, nitrification and regeneration system to improve quality of effluent leaving the wastewater treatment plant.
